Nano Level Calcium Carbonate Production
Project Description
The product of active nano level calcium carbonate with the size of 20 to 40 μm is a kind of excellent inorganic filler, which takes a lead in technology domestically and is advanced internationally and is widely applied in the production of painting, plastic, oil ink and paper etc.. According to some investigation and analysis, in recent years, the import of this product keeps increasing by 20% in China. The prediction shows that the annual demand for Nano Level Super-fine calcium carbonate on domestic market is more than 1.6 million tons in 2007. The market potential shows optimistic. The completion of the project will greatly improve technological level and quality of the product, earn foreign exchange for the state, propel the development of such relevant industries as automobile, building materials and chemical industry and promote the development of local economy.
Beihai is the gateway to sea for southwest region of China, located beside Gulf of Tonkin (Beibu Gulf), having good environment and climate. The city boasts abundant limestone, containing calcium oxide of above 47 percent. The site is in Beihai Export Processing Zone, which is the unique seaside export processing zone in West China, is the one nearest ASEAN and enjoys position and policy advantages under the background of 10+1 Sino-ASEAN Free Trade Zone.
Based on advantageous strategic geographical position, preferential policies, the enterprises can process Nano Level calcium carbonate at lower cost and re-export it.
